Whether you have roots in Germany or a taste for the exotic, Eine Deutsche Nacht will be a night to remember. On October 2nd, 2009, Rotary Club # 14’s charity banquet and auction will raise much-needed money for Tabitha’s Meals on Wheels program, the Child Advocacy Center, and the End Polio Now Campaign by transforming the Great Hall at the Lincoln Train Station into a Bavarian wonderland.
Following a feast, there will commence an auction featuring eye-popping items such as a cruise on the Tall Ship U.S.S. Eagle, a stay at a German baron’s winery, a trip to see the once-in-a-decade Oberammergau Passion Play, a week’s vacation in a cliffside luxury home in Acapulco, and a custom-built BMW, to be picked up at the factory as part of an incredible car-and-travel deal.
All this and more promise to make Eine Deutsche Nacht the can’t-miss occasion of the year.
